SQL Training Courses

SQL Training Courses

This section is designed to give you independent advice on choosing your training course, I am not trying to sell you a seat on a particular course.  Think of it as an insider view from a trainer.

SQL 2000 is - 'this is a huge product'.  One training course is unlikely to make anyone an expert.   There are traps with SQL courses.  People some times book the Server course when they want they really want is a course to design databases.

Microsoft  SQL Training Courses

I would not recommend the server admin or design courses without a working  knowledge of transact statements.

2171 - Transact statements.  A good course to get started and learn the SQL syntax.  This is a 3 day primer for the main SQL courses.

2172 - Classic SQL Server course.  Excellent for network administrator who want to understand how SQL works on their network.  Also explains how to backup the database and logs.

2173 - This is the Design course.  Be careful choosing between this and the above course, they are very different.

Concentrika Training Courses

I do not normally recommend non Microsoft training, so they have to be good!   Concentrika is simply the best independent database training company.  As well as SQL they also train all levels of Oracle courses.

What you get with Concentrika is great courses with an inspirational trainer.
